Only for UK residents (it seems), the BBC has now started streaming live TV for compatible handsets (currently the Nokia N96 and 5800) at mobile resolutions, 24 hours a day. The quality’s currently not brilliant, seemingly a frame size of 176 by 144 pixels, though RealPlayer on S60 phones will sample this up to fit, of course. But – it is TV, it is the real deal and you get the full range of BBC channels. including those normally only available via Freeview or cable/Sky.

FreeTimeBox allows you to have a digital time display anywhere on your phone like on Symbian OS v9.3!The time display will stay through all the normal phone menus not only screen standly. Now you can customize the display location/font/color of time by FreeTimeBox.Also it includes all of FreeTimeSync functions!
PS:FreeTimeSync is a S60 3rd’s time synchronization application, it is based on the NTP (Network Time Protocol), which provides high-precision time correction (on LAN less than 1 ms, on Internet dozens of milliseconds), and only causes little network flow. FreeTimeSync also supports GPS time sync and SMS time sync.

What Is Coming In The Next Version, A recap of what has been mentioned as upcoming
1) Minimizing the need for zooming in the first place. Allow users to interact more with the webpage thumbnail (read headings, click on links, etc.)
2) Improve content loading speed and intelligence. Skyfire will anticipate what you’re trying to view, and then prioritize its loading sequence accordingly – resulting in less waiting and less of those dreadful checkerboards.
3) basic features like download support and cut and paste will be included in our next release.
4) Cursor snapping and tracking on non-touchscreens when the zoom level is less than 100%
5) Bookmark management will make it into the next release.
6) We will be gradually adding contextual options for webpages, links, images and so forth — akin to the “right click” menu (Save as, properties, ‘copy/paste, etc) that desktop browsers have.
7) The option to set skyfire as your default browser will be in the next release.
Users will be able to visit a mobile version of a website when one is detected in our next release. Advanced settings related to this feature (managing mobile site preferences) will be in a subsequent release.
Further Clarified:
The user is simply presented with a link to the mobile version. It is their choice to use it or not. Full versions of websites will always be displayed by default.
9) The next version will have an auto-reconnect feature.
Stay tuned for more..!
